British Mini Trophy
The British Mini Trophy races will be held at Silverstone national circuit on the 31st July & 21st August 2008 as part of the POWERNIGHTS . There will be two double header races held on each date where race finishes will have credits depending on postion and the driver with the highest number of credits after the four races will be the winner of the coveted British Mini Trophy.The races are open to any Mini or Mini derivitive, the engines can be standard or fully modified A series, K series, BMW Mini or that of a non manufacture fitment, i.e Vauxhall, Honda, Motorbike etc etc, with Mid, Front, or rear fitment. These Minis can be front and/or rear wheel drive cars.
There will be three classes: Road, Sport and Super Sport.
As the Britsh Mini Trophy is open to anything Mini, to include Classic Minis, BMW Minis, Spaceframe Minis, Mini Metros, Mini Jems, Mini GTM, Marcos, Minus etc, this is expected be a fantastic spectacle for the many spectators and alot of fun for the drivers.

The   are the official organising club for the innovative POWERNIGHTS concept. Last year the Minis enjoyed their outing with POWERNIGHTS at Donington and all of the drivers that took part are looking forward to taking part again this year. POWERNIGHTS  is an all-new Thursday night motorsport series providing an action-packed 4 hour evening motorsport entertainment show for enthusiasts and families and value for money one day testing and racing for competitors.

All inclusive tickets
With an all inclusive ticket price (car parking, general admission, grandstand seat* and paddock transfer), spectators are welcome from 5pm, with the eight race programme starting at 6pm.

Win with POWERNIGHTS and Scalextric
POWERNIGHTS  puts the spectator in the driving seat. Predict each Race Winner in the POWERNIGHTS  Text-to-Win competition and you could win one of eight ‘Powerslide Drift Sets’ courtesy of Scalextric.

Action packed evening
In addition to the action packed 8 race schedule there will be stunt drivers, off track displays, live broadcast of Radio POWERNIGHTS  to keep you informed and the chance to get up close to the race cars and drivers.

Party-in-the-Paddock
Following the last race, and open to all spectators, The POWERNIGHTS  Party in the Paddock includes Awards Ceremony, BBQ**, Music and a chance to meet drivers, marshals and officials.
